Tracing the lines of the void. The lines of the body. The lines of time. The lines that bind us.
Since her graduation from the National Circus School of Montreal in 2022 Daphnée has been at the intersection of dance and circus, diligently searching for authenticity, meaning, and sensitivity in each of her creative gestures.
With vertical dance as her anchor, she transforms façades, cliffs, and trees into suspended spaces where beauty, architecture, and movement intersect and may, with the right touch, become one.
At her home in Québec and internationally, Daphnée is contributing to the reach of vertical dance by advancing its visibility, accessibility, and recognition as a discipline of deep expression capable of standing on its own.
Her aesthetic and technical research unfolds via intimate relationships with her environment — both poetic and concrete.
